The Brockhill Barns project located in Harbertonford near Totnes was previously used as agricultural barns. After being approached by Nkuku, we embarked on an exciting project to strip out and demolish whilst providing structural repairs to the roof, masonry and structural steelwork.
One of the key elements of the project was the installation of insulated black metal cladding to existing barn walls and roof. With the help of Gillespie Yunnie Architects this created a simple uniform aesthetic to the building whilst retaining its industrial agricultural appearance. Previously used as agricultural stone buildings, Brockhill Barns was an exciting project working for the client; Nkuku.
